📋 FAQ: MSME Registration (Udyam Registration)

MSME stands for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. These are businesses classified based on their investment in plant & machinery and turnover.

Udyam Registration is the government-issued certificate for MSMEs. It replaced the old system of Udyog Aadhaar and is mandatory to get benefits under MSME schemes.

Any business entity involved in Manufacturing, Trading, or the Service Sector can register under MSME – including proprietorship, partnership, LLPs, private limited companies, etc.
